About Starla

Starla is a very sweet Cavalier girl that came into rescue from a pet home in sad circumstances.

Starla can be anxious in new situations and when meeting new people and dogs. She is good with other dogs, however she can be a little dominant with other females. She has been used to being an only dog but we have found the other dogs are helping her so much with her anxiety. For this reason there must be at least one super confident, energetic dog in her forever home.

She is looking for a very active home, she loves nothing better than countryside walks where she can sniff everything! She needs at least 2 walks a day for approx 45 minutes each walk, this helps her anxiety so much. She is not a sofa dog so her adopter must be fit and have enough time to exercise her as she needs. We would prefer a rural/semi-rural home for her ideally where she can have plenty of off lead exercise twice daily.

Starla loves cuddles and she will love her forever human so much. She is a very loyal girl and will enjoy following her human around, especially for gardening! She loves to play fetch and playing with toys.

She can be head shy when stroked if you are standing up and nervous. She would really benefit from further socialisation and basically being shown the world. She knows some basic obedience and is a very intelligent girl, she would really enjoy more training in her new home.

Starla is heart clear currently and has no known health problems.

We are looking for her perfect forever home, she is a super special girl and needs to have plenty of stimulation, exercise and confidence building. She doesn't like cats and will bark and chase them. Resident and vistiting children must be 10+
