About Woody

Woody is a lovely natured, 4 year old larger type Cavalier that came into rescue from a pet home.

Woody is a dream dog, he loves his cuddles and can most commonly be found rolling on his back waiting for a belly rub! He is a young boy so is looking for a fit, active family to adopt him that can give him all the love and attention he needs.

He loves his walks, we have been building them up and he is going to need 2x 45 minute walks a day in his forever home. He travels very well in the car and meets and greets everyone with demands for cuddles and belly rubs! He loves being outside in the garden and on his walks he enjoys finding new sights and smells.

Woody is nervous of other dogs, he has never shown any aggression towards another dog but will hide away from them. This causes no issues on walks as he will happily just keep his distance and ignore them but he cannot live with another dog. He came into rescue from a home with another dog, he was so unhappy so it is a must that he needs to be an only dog.

Woody is fit, healthy and heart clear. In his previous home he did however have some mild seizures some months ago. We haven't seen any sign of neurological issues while he has been in foster but it is possible he could need treatment and a referral to a neurologist in the future so please factor this in before applying.

As mentioned above Woody cannot be rehomed with other dogs, he is not cat tested. Resident and visiting children must be over 10. He needs his human to be around most of the time.

Woody is in foster in North Lincolnshire. The successful applicant must live within 90 minutes of the foster home.
