About Benji and Bear

Bear and Benji came to rescue from a pet home in very sad circumstances and are looking for their forever home together. We have reduced their adoption fee to £600.

They are both Cavalier crosses and are siblings from different litters 5 months apart.

They are both the most loving, friendly dogs who want to spend every minute with their humans. They are looking for a home where their humans will be around most of the time but they can be left for short periods. Benji will whine when left for short periods of time but will eventually settle.

Benji is friendly and outgoing with other dogs, greeting people and children. Bear is very nervous, she will bark at strangers and sometimes other dogs but given time she relaxes and approaches when she feels safe. She does not like being approached from overhead and will shy away.

They both enjoy their 45/60-minute walks, walk well on the lead, and do not pull. They travel well in the car either in a crate or attached to seat belts and are fully housetrained. They will need a secure garden with a 5-6 ft fence. Bear is a happy little girl who needs somebody who will be patient and gentle with her until she gains confidence in the new home. They are both obedient, respond well to their names, will come when called, sit, and go to bed when asked.

Bear has been spayed, had a small hernia repaired and a teeth clean and polish whilst in rescue. Benji was already neutered. They have both had their vaccinations, been microchipped and are up to date with worming and parasite preventatives. They have no known health conditions.

Bear and Benji are not cat tested, but they chase birds and squirrels in the garden. The adopters must be around most of the time.

Bear and Benji are in foster in North Yorkshire. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet. Please can we remind not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time, you are more than welcome to email us with any [email protected]
