Olive is a beautiful 5-year-old black and tan Cavalier looking for an loving forever home.
Where to start with Olive! She is a little sweetheart and is ever so loving. We call her ‘pocket rocket’! She bounces around and is such a happy little girl. She gets on with everyone she meets and laps up attention and cuddles.
She needs plenty of stimulation and lovely, interesting walkies. She plays with toys; she really likes balls, especially. She has a cheeky side and will sometimes bark at other dogs when she is out and about; she can be distracted from doing this but will benefit from training in her forever home. At the moment, where she is in foster, she doesn’t get walked in busy places and is really good. With a confident dog she is doing this less and less.
Olive is heart clear currently. Sadly, she has mild Syringomyelia and mild hip dysplasia, which are well managed with inexpensive medication. She has dry eye, so she is on veterinary-prescribed medication. She also suffers from allergies, so she needs medication for this.
She does need a resident dog in her forever home and can live with children 6+. She has been cat tested and does bark and chase them sadly.
Olive is in foster in North Lincolnshire. Her adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
