Lily – Adopted

Ruben – Adopted
27th June 2023
Handsome 8-year-old Leo is looking for his forever home. He is in foster in North East Lincolnshire.
His adoption fee is reduced due to his health conditions – the rescue will contribute towards his eye and heart medication.
Leo is a happy, loving, gentle older boy who loves a cuddle. He loves his walks and is good on the lead; he is quite active and does require appropriate exercise. He is a good traveller, either harnessed in with a seatbelt or in a crate. He gets on really well with other dogs and he absolutely loves cuddles with hoomans!
Generally, Leo is a good sleeper and sleeps on the floor in the bedroom at night. Sometimes he also jumps on the bed but doesn’t disturb anyone. He sleeps on the settee during the day and will not sleep on the dog bed- standard Cavalier diva behaviour! Leo enjoys being groomed and doesn’t mind having his teeth brushed.
Leo has a grade 3 heart murmur and is on medication; he is also on pain relief for chiari pain and hip dysplasia and Optimmune for dry eye. The rescue is prepared to contribute towards his medication costs by covering his heart medication and Optimmune.
He is not cat tested. Children over 10. He can live with or without other dogs.
Leo is in foster in North East Lincolnshire. His adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check. Please can we remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time. You are more than welcome to email us with any [email protected]
