Darcey is a stunningly beautiful, 4yr old, black and tan cocker spaniel. She's adjusting well to her new life where she's learning to be pet dog in her foster home, she was with a breeder living in kennels before coming into rescue.Darcey sleeps through the night downstairs with the other dogs; she's also met, and learnt to ignore, the cat. Her house training is progressing. Darcey loves being outside in the garden - when called she'll come immediately and sit looking up at you. Inside, especially in the evenings, she asks to come up on the sofa for a cuddle. We are looking for a forever home for Darcey where she'll have good quality walks. It'll be so rewarding for her new family to introduce her to a 'proper cocker spaniel life'. She can be re-homed with a kind, confident resident dog(s); provided her new owners were around most of the day we would consider Darcey being homed as an only dog. She cannot be rehomed with children under 12 years due to her previous life. She is good with cats. Darcey loves her 'people' ; she'll become the most devoted, obedient, companion. Darcey deserves a happy ever after life as a much loved cocker spaniel.
