Bailey is a lovely 5 year old Cavalier boy, he came into rescue from a breeding establishment.Bailey has had a bad start in life and needs an extra special person or family to give him everything that he deserves. He gets very anxious when he is left even if you are just upstairs or in another room, this is improving and he has become more settled in foster. Bailey is his foster mum's shadow and he will need someone at home all of the time in his new home and can only be left for very short periods of time.Bailey is not completely toilet trained yet and will need encouragement and plenty of patience. He walks well on his lead now as part of a pack and needs at least one other dog in his new home to give him confidence. He is still wary of new people that he meets especially men, this is something that has been slowly improving and the resident dogs in his foster home have been showing him that the world isn't as scary as he thinks.Bailey has had an extensive dental and has lost many teeth, he is much more comfortable now. He is heart clear and has no other known health problems. His ideal adopter will have a lot of time for Bailey, lots of patience and love. There must be at least one resident dog in his new home to continue helping him grown in confidence. He cannot be rehomed with children under 12 as he is not used to them and he is not cat tested.
