💗 About Button
Button is a gentle, sweet-natured 5-year-old Blenheim Cavalier who came into rescue from a breeding establishment. Since arriving in foster, she has already made lovely progress, but she is still a shy little girl who needs time, patience, and understanding as she continues to build confidence.
Once Button feels safe, her affectionate nature starts to shine through. She wags her tail just from being spoken to and loves quietly following her human from room to room. She sleeps well at night in her foster mum’s bedroom, enjoys her meals and treats, and has settled beautifully into home life.
Button has also taken great comfort from the other dogs in her foster home and has learned a lot by following their routine. Because of this, she will need a confident resident dog in her forever home to provide reassurance and help her continue adjusting to the world around her.
She now walks well on the lead and travels nicely in the car, but she will still need confidence-building in a new environment, and adopters who understand that progress may take time. A calm home with a secure garden and patient people will help her continue to blossom.
Button really is a lovely little soul, and her foster mum knows that in the right forever home, she is going to make a very special companion.
