Roy ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Ruby Cavalier Roy is a sweet little boy looking for his forever home. He came into foster care under very sad circumstances; he was in kennels as a stray and was not microchipped. After looking for his owners, no one came forward. We believe he is around 5 years old.

Judging by his behaviour and demeanour in his foster home, he definitely lived in a home before. He is very friendly with people and most dogs but isn’t very keen on intact males. He has gotten on well with his foster fur brothers and plays with the toys, and runs around the garden.

Roy likes to cuddle up in a dog bed during the day when he is not up to mischief! He sleeps well at night but has wormed his way onto his foster mum’s bed—or sometimes on a dog bed, depending on how he feels.

While in rescue, he was neutered and had an extensive dental. Roy has a medium grade murmur so has had an echocardiogram, currently he does not need medication but he will need monitoring. He has been vaccinated and all parasite treatment is up to date, and he has been microchipped.

He is a little boy who loves his walks and willingly waits for his harnesses to be put on. He eats well, enjoys his food and happily eats around other dogs. Roy is a bundle of fun, and everyone who meets him comments on how friendly he is and how his lovely chestnut eyes are. He will make a lovely addition to the right home that he deserves, with cuddles, kisses and play.
