Ffion Tricolour Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Ffion is a beautiful Tricolour Cavalier that came to rescue from a breeder, she is looking for a wonderful forever home. She is 6 years old.

She is a nervous girl, and it does take her a long time to trust you. She loves watching TV, quickly earning her the nickname ‘TV Tri’! She chooses her favourite person and follows them everywhere! She needs a patient adopter that will wait for her to settle in and trust them.

She has become accustomed to the finer things in life. She enjoys snoozing on the sofa and sleeping on the hoomans bed at night. She will let you gently stroke her on the sofa and snuggle next to you. She enjoys walks ever so much but can be timid in new or busy places, so reassurance is needed. Walkies is a great time to bond with her.

She adores other dogs, so is looking for a home with at least one confident dog that can show her that things aren’t as scary as she thinks. She travels well in the car and has even been on a beachy holiday with her foster family, which she thoroughly enjoyed, especially the doggy ice cream, we are told!

Ffion has a low-grade heart murmur. She sadly has severe Syringomyelia and is on a combination of pain relief which must continue. She needs to stay under her neurologist for pain management advice, which can be done remotely using telemedicine if located too far away; the rescue will contribute towards this. Her pain is covered very well, and she has a great quality of life. She has a mild luxating knee; this doesn’t cause any issues. She has dry eye, so she is on lifelong eye ointment.

She would like a loving home where she can slowly become more confident, which will take time. She does need another doggy friend. When she is with her doggy friends, she is super confident.

She can be left for short periods with no issues. Children and visiting children must be 10+

Ffion is in foster in North Lincolnshire. Her adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check.
