About Digger

Digger is a really lovely boy, he is looking for his perfect home.

Digger was found for sale in an online advert a year ago, his previous owners believe that prior to him coming to them he could have been used as a breeding dog. He certainly had no been socialised enough, if at all. For this reason he can be extremely anxious in certain situations and he needs an understanding and experienced owner for that reason.

He would suit a rural home where he cannot see passers by as this really stresses him out. Ideally he would have some other resident dogs that he can turn to for security when he is anxious, he also loves to play with toys and explore. He loves his walks and has a fair amount of energy. Walks are great but he needs reassuring and further training when passing people and other dogs as he does tend to bark at them. He was very good at his vet trip and was very settled in the car also.

He has a very low grade heart murmur which does not need medication and no other known current health problems.

Digger loves nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa or sitting on your lap. He will need owners that are around most of the day due to his insecurities and we are sure with the right home his anxiety will settle down even further.

Please read our adoption procedure prior to filling in the online form. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
