💗 About Lottie & Lucy
Lottie and Lucy are a gorgeous pair of 6-year-old Cavaliers who are looking for their forever home together. These two girls are very bonded and must be rehomed as a pair.
They are affectionately described as little “pocket rockets” and are looking for an active family who will enjoy taking them on plenty of walks, adventures and fun days out. They may be small Cavaliers, but they certainly aren’t looking for a quiet life!
Both girls are extremely affectionate. As soon as you sit down, you can expect them to be climbing onto your knee for cuddles. They love human company and enjoy being involved in everything going on around them.
Lottie is the more needy of the two and particularly likes having her people nearby, so the girls need a home where someone is around for most of the day. They are not suited to a home where they would routinely be left for long periods.
Lottie and Lucy walk well on the lead. They do bark with excitement when first setting off, but this quickly settles once they are underway.
They both absolutely love their food and will need to continue with a sensible diet as they each have some weight to lose. The girls should be fed separately, not because of any food aggression, but simply because Lucy is a much faster eater and will happily move on to Lottie’s dinner once she has finished her own!
They have settled well around the other dogs in their foster home and are happy to share their space. They will also sit patiently waiting for a treat, although we suspect treats are taken very seriously in this household!
At night, Lottie and Lucy sleep well on the bed and are happiest being close to their people.
These girls are loving, lively, affectionate and full of personality. They are looking for a family who wants two wonderful companions to share walks, days out, cuddles and everyday life with.
🐾 Health & Medical Needs
✅ Health conditions: Both Lottie and Lucy have Chiari-like malformation. Their symptoms are currently very well controlled on inexpensive medication, and both girls are doing extremely well.
💊 On medication? Yes. Both girls take ongoing medication for Chiari-like malformation, which will need to be continued in their new home.
🦷 Dental treatment: Both girls have had extensive dental treatment while in rescue.
✂️ Spayed? Yes, both girls are spayed.
⚖️ Weight: Both girls have some weight to lose, and their adopters will need to continue following their diet and weight-management plan.
🧠 Behaviour & Personality
🐾 Behaviour traits: Affectionate, lively, people-focused, enthusiastic, sociable and very cuddly. Lottie is the more dependent of the pair and particularly enjoys having her people nearby.
🎾 Activity level: High – these girls are energetic Cavaliers who enjoy walks, adventures and fun days out.
📚 Training required: Continued positive training, appropriate enrichment and maintaining sensible boundaries around food and excitement on walks.

🏡 Type of home required: An active, loving home where someone is around for most of the day and is looking for two affectionate Cavaliers to become part of family life. Their adopters must enjoy walking and be able to provide plenty of exercise, stimulation and companionship.
