About Max
Max is a beautiful 2-year-old Blenheim Cavalier with a huge heart and a sensitive soul. After a rough start and multiple homes, he came into rescue scared, anxious, and unable to cope with being left alone.
With months of patience and care, Max has made incredible progress. He adores other Cavaliers, thrives in the garden or in secure fields, and has discovered the joy of play. He can still be anxious in new situations and will need time to settle in, but his playful spirit and cuddly nature are shining through more each day. 
Max is on gabapentin for chiari malformation (CM), which has greatly improved his comfort and anxiety. He still needs guidance and reassurance, especially around new people and routines, but he repays patience with deep loyalty and endless affection.
He’ll do best in a home that understands the emotional needs of rescue dogs and is committed to giving him the time and stability he’s never had before.
🏡 Adoption Criteria
🏡 Type of home required: A calm, experienced home with a secure garden, someone home most of the time, and at least one confident resident dog. Quiet walking areas needed. No young children.
