Jess is a beautiful 4-year-old Blenheim Cavalier that has come from a breeding establishment.

She has settled well in foster and enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. She likes short walks with time to sniff around and nibble on the grass and likes the company of laid-back dogs.

She does well being left for short periods but likes her humans’ company too. Her house training has been excellent so far. Jess loves sitting on the sofa and having her tummy rubbed. Pottering around would really suit Jess; she prefers a slower pace to things.

Jess can be feisty at times when she wants her own way! She is a little nervous about people and excited dogs that she doesn’t know, but her confidence is coming on, and her cheeky personality is coming out.

She has mild Chiari malformation pain that is controlled well with inexpensive medication. She does have mitral valve disease; her heart murmur is grade 2 at the moment, so she doesn’t require any medication yet.

She needs a resident dog in her forever home and would do well with an older dog that likes to take it easy. She can be rehomed with children 10+. She is not cat tested.

Jess is in foster in Wakefield, Yorkshire. Her adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.

The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check.
