Herbie 6 year old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles
Herbie is a very handsome 6-year-old Blenheim Cavalier who came into rescue from a pet home after developing minor guarding issues with a resident dog. He is looking for a wonderful forever home. A reduced adoption fee applies.
He is the sweetest, chilled-out boy who loves being near his humans. He enjoys exploring the great outdoors and meets lots of people and dogs along the way. He can be taken anywhere and behaves impeccably. He enjoys a long snooze after his walks and is not a high-energy boy.
Herbie has a medium-grade heart murmur and has started medication; this will need to be monitored regularly. He also has slight arthritis in his hind leg, which has caused him no problems, but he benefits from taking a joint supplement. He has no other known health problems.
We are looking for a dog-free home where someone is around most of the day to give him lots of love and attention. He can live with cats and children over 12 years old. He is quite happy to be left for short periods of time, travels well in the car and walks by your side on the lead.
Herbie happily sleeps in the kitchen and takes himself to bed when he’s ready. He is up to date with parasite treatments and vaccinations. Herbie is so easy to look after and is a pleasure to foster, someone will be very lucky to have this lovable boy in their lives.
Herbie is in foster in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. His adopter(s) must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract/or a letter from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
Please only apply when you have discussed this with all family members, are committed to offering the dog a home, and have fully considered their needs.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within five days of a successful home check. Can we please remind you not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time. You are more than welcome to email us with any [email protected]
