About Harry

Harry is a sweet, playful boy who absolutely adores his humans – once youโ€™re โ€œhis person,โ€ heโ€™ll be your loyal shadow. Heโ€™s still a little nervous when meeting new people, but gains confidence with calm introductions and reassurance.

Heโ€™s a larger Cavalier, with a tall build and a big personality to match. Harry enjoys a good bark (especially if his dinner is running late!) and is full of puppy-like energy. He loves toys, playtime, and cheeky moments; stealing tea towels is one of his favourite games.

Harry walks nicely on the lead once he settles, though he can pull when excited and is still getting used to regular exercise. Continued socialisation will really help him thrive. Heโ€™s happiest around other dogs and gains huge confidence from them, so weโ€™d love him to have a friendly resident dog in his new home.

Heโ€™s a bit anxious in the car but settles well when travelling with his pals, and he sleeps soundly at night in the kitchen.

Recently, Harry was seen by a neurologist who identified some mild spinal pain, but nothing severe. Heโ€™s doing really well on medication, and the rescue will cover the cost of his follow-up specialist reviews after adoption. He also has a low-grade patella issue, which doesnโ€™t currently require surgery, and his heart is clear with no other known health issues.

Harry is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date with flea and worming treatments. He hasnโ€™t been tested with cats or children, so weโ€™re looking for an adult-only or older-teen home.

This bright, affectionate boy just needs time, gentle guidance, and plenty of love, plus a toy box to raid and maybe a spare tea towel or two!
