About Frankie

Frankie is a gentle and very special 6-year-old boy who came into rescue after a difficult past. When he first arrived, he was overwhelmed and scared of any human interaction. But with time, love, and patience, he’s started to blossom.

He now barks for his dinner with the other dogs, gets up on the sofa for cuddles, and even plays tug of war and chases soft toys. His cheeky side is beginning to shine through. Frankie Blenheim Cavalier holding a toy in his mouth

Frankie still has anxieties—particularly with car travel and unfamiliar dogs—but he’s making slow, steady progress. He sleeps through the night, often choosing a comfy dog bed in the bedroom, though he may hop onto the bed for extra reassurance.

He’ll need a special home with someone kind and understanding, who can continue to build his trust and confidence. A calm, friendly resident dog is essential to help guide him and show him the world isn’t so scary. He could live with respectful older children, and while he may bark at cats, he doesn’t show much interest beyond that.

Frankie’s journey isn’t over, but he’s come so far already. With the right home, he will reward you with deep love, loyalty, and the most heartwarming transformation.
