About Evie and Joey

Evie (on left) and Joey (on right) have come from a rescue abroad.

Evie and Joey were rescued from a breeder that was keeping them in terrible conditions and they arrived with us in April 2019. They are best friends so do need a home together.

Evie is just over one year old and Joey is five.

Evie is a beautiful, cheeky, inquisitive, mischievous and very energetic little girl. Who loves spending time playing with Joey with as many toys as they can drag out from the toy box, the more the better.

Evie is very underweight so is presently on 3 meals a day which will be reduced to 2 meals a day once she has gained sufficient weight. Evie walks well on a lead and harness but is still unsure when meeting people or of any sudden movements. She will need plenty of stimulation with her being so young and short frequent walks to start off with to help build up her muscle tone.

Joey is a lively and loving little chap, who loves play (lots of it), walkies and cuddle time. Joey also walks well on a lead and harness, but can be quite vocal when he sees another dog. He has a lovely sweet character but can also be a little stroppy if he is disturbed by either his playmate or one of the other resident dogs at his foster home whilst he is trying to relax.

Both Evie and Joey have been checked over by a vet and have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed and had flea and ear treatment, Joey has also had a full dental done. The vet is not sure if Evie has a very, very subtle heart murmur but she will be rechecked prior to adoption.

They are both house trained and can go to a home with children/visiting children age 10 and above, neither of them has been cat tested.

Please read our adoption procedure prior to filling in the online form. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have by email.
