About Daisy
Daisy is a 6 year old red sable Cocker Spaniel that came into rescue from a breeding establishment.
She is a beautiful, gentle soul, she is still quite nervous of quick hand movements but is not really bothered by household sounds. We are still working on her toilet training and she is making good progress. She eats well, but again moves away if there are sudden movements round her. Daisy enjoys the companionship of other dogs and would benefit from there being a resident dog in her forever home. She enjoys being fussed and will come for attention on her own terms. She loves pottering and running round the garden but as yet does not play with toys. Daisy enjoys going for walks and walks well on a lead and is not bothered by traffic etc. She sleeps in the kitchen with her foster mum's dogs and is OK being left for short periods. Daisy has a barely discernible left sided heart murmur-consistant with Mitral Valve Disease, no action is currently needed but this will need to be monitored. She is spayed and has had a dental. She is becoming more confident every day, a really lovely girl who will bring her new owners much joy.Daisy needs a home with at least one confident resident dog and cannot be rehomed with children under 10 years. She is not cat tested. Please read our adoption procedure prior to filling in the online form. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
