About Daisy
Daisy is a beautiful 2-year-old Cavalier with a gentle, sensitive nature who has made wonderful progress in foster. When she first arrived, she was timid and nervous, but with patience and routine, she has blossomed into a loving and playful companion.
Her absolute favourite thing is playing fetch with her ball; she could do it all day if given the chance! She also enjoys going for walks, though she can still be a little nervous on new routes. One of her favourite outings is to sit quietly in cafΓ©s, tea rooms, or pub gardens, where she happily relaxes under the table watching the world go by.
Daisy is very people-focused and bonds quickly with her humans, but she needs adopters who will take things at her pace and not expect too much too soon. She thrives in a calm, structured home with few comings and goings. Daisy can be vocal and noise reactive when unsettled, but this has already improved in foster as her confidence has grown.
She has allergies and must remain on a strict hypoallergenic diet, which will be discussed in detail with potential adopters, and she also takes inexpensive medication for Chiari malformation, which keeps her comfortable. Daisy travels well in the car and sleeps happily on the floor next to your bed where she can see you.
The ideal home for Daisy will be quiet and calm, with adopters experienced in helping nervous dogs settle. She would be happiest as an only dog or with one calm Cavalier who will give her space. With patience, gentle encouragement, and plenty of ball games, Daisy will reward her new family with loyalty, affection, and companionship.
π‘ Adoption Criteria
π‘ Type of home required: A quiet, calm home with a good-sized, secure garden for ball play. Daisy would suit being an only dog or living with one calm Cavalier who will give her space.
