About Cagney and Casey

Cagney and Casey are a bonded 3 year old pair of Cavaliers that came into rescue from a pet home.

Casey the Blenheim is a very outgoing girl that loves her food and likes to be with her humans as much as possible. She will follow you around or be snuggling up on the sofa.

Cagney the Tricolour coloured girl is quieter and a little timid/ shy she will follow Casey around but will stand back until she is happy and confident to approach people. She doesn’t like people standing over her but once she get to know you she is the most loving girl who loves to sit on your knee or snuggle up as close.

They love their walks however Casey will be vocal when out. We believe this is a little anxiety and excitement but with training she has improved greatly. They are both fully house trained, walk well on leads and travel well in the car.

Cagney and Casey respond well to their names and will come when called, sit and stay when asked. They sleep in the kitchen at night no problem, however when left for short periods of time they show signs of separation anxiety and will bark for a short period before settling. In view of this prospect adopters must be at home most of the day.

Cagney has a low grade heart murmur which will need to be monitored. They have both had a scale and polish whilst in rescue and have no other known health conditions. They are both spayed.

The girls cannot be homed with children or visiting children under 12 and are not cat tested. They need a wonderful, quiet loving forever home and ongoing training to help with their separation anxiety and anxiety when out walking.

Cagney and Casey are in foster in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet.
