Zuma is a handsome 2-year-old Blenheim Cavalier looking for his forever home.

He didn’t have the best start in life; he broke his femur as a young pup in an accident and needed a couple of surgeries and rehabilitation following this. Now he is doing really well, so we are looking for a super-duper forever home for him.

Zuma is the friendliest, most loving boy. He is a typical 2-year-old Cavalier and enjoys lots of fuss and play. He loves other dogs and spends his day playing with them. He loves his walkies and is very good out and about. He travels extremely well, is good for grooming and sleeps well at night.

He is a cheeky boy and sometimes does have a chew on things! This is lessening as time goes on, and he is generally very good.

He does need an adopter that is around most of the time but can be left for a couple of hours with no issues. He cannot be rehomed with cats but needs a playful resident dog in his forever home. He can be rehomed with children 8+.

Sadly Zuma has had an MRI scan and has mild chiari and syringomyelia, so he is on inexpensive pain relief (approx £10 per month inc. vet prescription), which he will need to remain on. He also has hip dysplasia, so he currently benefits from exercise and a supplement. In future, he may need further pain relief and hydrotherapy.

Zuma is in foster in North Lincolnshire. His adopters must be prepared to purchase a lifetime insurance policy or have the means to cover any future health issues. Home workers must be able to produce a contract from their employer. Tenants must send a letter from their landlord stating they have permission to have the dog at their property.
The successful applicants must be able to travel to the foster home for the meet and greet and be immediately available for a home check. The meet and greet must occur within 5 days of a successful home check.
