About Kylie

Kylie is a Minature Australian Labradoodle ex-breeding girl that has sneaked her way into our rescue because we couldn't leave her behind.

She is 4 years old and has only known life so far as a breeding girl. She is looking for a special home where she can grow in confidence and learn to trust people at her own pace. She is very frightened in confined spaces where she feels cornered and she is nervous of passing through doorways also.

Kylie finds it easier to bond with female humans, she does like men but it takes some time for her to trust them. It would be a good idea in her forever home for the man (if there is one) to be involved with feeding and walking her and bond that way. Otherwise she will begin to rely on just the females in the home.

She is housetrained, used to going in the car and walks really well on her lead. She very much enjoys her walkies.

She is very, very frightened of children so she absolutely cannot go to a home with resident or visiting children. She has mild separation anxiety so cannot be left for long periods but her foster mum has left her for short periods with no problems. Ideally she needs a calm, confident, older dog to show her the ropes. She doesn't like boisterous dogs that bounce up to her and she gets nervous of them.

She has a low grade heart murmur grade approx 1-2. She has very mild sight issues which require no treatment at this time.

She is so loving and affectionate, she just needs her perfect forever home where her humans will understand her needs and are prepared to work with her and not expect overnight miracles. With her wagging tail and happy face she will bring so much joy to that special home that she so deserves.

Kylie is in foster in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Her adoption fee is reduced due to her breed ie not Cavalier and she hasn't got multiple expensive health issues that the rescue has had to pay for, to be discussed during telephone interview. The successful applicants must be able to travel to foster home for the meet and greet. Please can we remind not to telephone the rescue regarding adoptions at any time, you are more than welcome to email us with any questions-[email protected]

Please read our adoption procedure prior to filling in the online form. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
